Basecamp Venture Partners

Hands-on partners to founders building software companies in high-growth markets.

Toronto-based. Early-stage focused. Operator-led since 2010.

What we do

Basecamp Venture Partners works alongside exceptional entrepreneurs building market-altering software businesses. We engage early — often pre-revenue, sometimes pre-product — and we stay close through every phase that follows: product development, business development, marketing, financing, hiring, and the hard decisions in between.

We are entrepreneurs ourselves. We understand where founders have been and, more importantly, where they have to go. We invest in domain expert founders and surround them with an ecosystem of experienced operators who help turn early market engagement into sustainable businesses.

Founder–investor alignment is the foundation of every partnership we build. If you're looking for partners for the whole journey, not just capital, get us involved early.
